FAQ

Frequently asked questions
Do you photograph weddings outside Coventry?
Yes. We travel all over the country, and even further afield if the wedding calls for it, we've regularly shot weddings in Manchester, London, the Cotswolds and Southampton. Anywhere within 100 miles is included in your package price. Beyond that, we ask for a small additional cost to cover travel, a hotel, and a meal on the night, so we're staying local, arriving fresh the next morning with just a short journey in, and avoiding any complications that travel on the day could cause.
How much does a wedding photographer cost in Coventry?
Our wedding photography packages start from 1,150 pounds and go up to 4,999 pounds, depending on hours of coverage, extra services like a pre-wedding shoot, and physical products such as albums or USB boxes. We're happy to talk through what fits your day and budget during a no-obligation chat.
Do you offer both photography and videography as a package?
Yes. Ryan usually leads on the video side, working alongside the photography team as one unit with a single shared vision for how your day should be captured. Booking both means your timeline is planned once, by a team that already coincides with itself, so there's no risk of photography and video schedules clashing. It also means we can support each other with equipment through the day, keeping things moving without any lag. On top of that, there's usually a financial benefit to booking multiple services together, whether that's photo, video, or content, plus the simplicity of dealing with one company instead of two.
What style of photography and video do you shoot?
Our photography is very much documentary, we capture key moments like speeches and the ceremony completely as they happen, unposed and authentic to the day. Alongside that, we bring a High Fashion sensibility to how those moments are framed and lit. Our video style is cinematic and Hollywood-influenced, built around audio, lighting and camera movement that puts your day in its best possible light. But ultimately, both are led by your day itself, how you flow through it, and the styling and design you've chosen, we take our cue from that, aiming to create something unapologetically authentic that you can be proud of.
Do you shoot multicultural weddings?
Yes, extensively. We've shot a huge number of South Asian weddings, including Muslim, Sikh and Hindu ceremonies, alongside British, Turkish and many other cultural traditions. We know these traditions inside and out, in many cases we've attended more of these ceremonies than the guests themselves have. Ultimately though, we take our lead from you, the client, and what matters most to you on your day, making sure every tradition that's important to you is fully captured.
Do you offer 4K video?
HD is our standard delivery format, with 4K available as an add-on.
What happens at the initial consultation?
We call it the vibe check, an initial, no-obligation meeting where we take our time to properly get to know each other. You tell us your backstory, your likes and dislikes, and your wishes for your wedding day, and we walk you through how we approach photography and video, so we can both check our sensibilities genuinely align. Beyond that, we hold a separate, more detailed planning meeting closer to the day itself, we usually recommend having a cup of tea and snacks to hand for that one, where we go through your day minute by minute to make sure everything's mapped out. It's part of why we prefer working directly with our own couples, rather than the freelance work we sometimes do for other companies, where we don't get the chance to meet clients beforehand or see the edit through ourselves.
Do you shoot at Coombe Abbey or Ansty Hall?
Yes, regularly, we've shot many grand weddings at both, including large Asian celebrations using the marquee space for full-day events. Both venues are absolutely beautiful, and while we shoot at venues all across the country, these are among the local ones we've come to know well.
How long does it take to receive our wedding photos and video?
We deliver photos within 3 months and video within 6 months. We work through weddings chronologically so every couple is dealt with fairly, and we never deliver an unfinished product, if we feel we haven't hit the mark, we go back over it until we have. We always aim to under-promise and over-deliver, so if we can get your images or film to you sooner, we will. We're also happy to keep you updated on where you sit in the schedule at any time, just ask.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad on the day?
In our experience, bad weather is rarely a real issue, it very rarely rains through an entire day. We stay adaptable, work around the schedule, and find opportunities to get the shots you need as the day unfolds. For formal and group photos, we always have a backup plan, including lighting set up indoors, so we can still capture the important shots you want, whatever the weather's doing outside. As long as everyone's up for a laugh and happy to adapt with us, it's very rarely an issue at all.
What happens if you or Ryan can't make our wedding?
On the equipment side, we always shoot on multiple cameras and multiple memory cards, and everything is backed up in multiple copies at our home base once we're done, so there's no risk of losing your footage or images. On the personal side, if either of us were ever unable to make it, due to health or travel issues, we're completely open and honest with you as early as possible. We work closely with a trusted network of other wedding photographers and videographers whose work we know well, and we'd recommend who we believe is best placed to step in and deliver the same standard for your day.
We're nervous about being photographed, how do you help put clients at ease?
A lot of photographers answer this by saying they're purely documentary or photojournalistic, meaning they never direct you, they just observe. But we don't think it's that simple, everything doesn't need to be fully candid, and everything doesn't need to be posed, there's a time and place for both, and we treat it as a spectrum rather than a rule. When you invest a huge amount into having your wedding photographed and filmed, you're doing so because you want a guaranteed result, and that only comes from a photographer putting their experience, knowledge and skill into the work, not standing back entirely. What actually matters more than which end of that spectrum you sit on is whether you feel comfortable with your photographer, confident in what you're going to get, and like you genuinely enjoyed having them there. Our biggest hope is that instead of thinking "the wedding photographer is coming," you just think "Eddy's coming."
